About us
Selwyn and the late Anne Wong Doo have practised at the Wong Doo Health Clinic for over 40 years.
Selwyn is a second generation acupuncturist and herbalist, born and bred in NZ, following in the footsteps of his late father, William Wong Doo, who set up the clinic in 1939 in Auckland.
He's a foundation member of AcupunctureNZ and the NZ Association of Medical Herbalists (1983) Inc, as well as an ACC Treatment Provider.

CHM comes in the form of a liquid extract. They are made as a personal prescription according to your first diagnosis. Supplements, in pill form, may also be suggested.

I came into your clinic with a headache associated with tension. I had the headache all day. It was situated at the top of my head and I could feel the pain also into my sinuses. After having acupuncture for blocked energies in the back of the neck vertebrae, the headache was relieved.

I was in so much discomfort with my lower back. It was painful just standing up without any movement. After my treatment it was as if I never had a problem. I was able to fly back home to California and carry on without any problems whatsoever. It was fantastic!
